Gary has served as the Senior Pastor of Dishman First Baptist Church in Spokane since 2001. Prior to this ministry he served churches as Senior Pastor in Kansas and Associate Pastor in Missouri. He also served as Administrator of a Christian school in Missouri.
Gary and his wife Patti, have been married 39 years. This blissful union has produced two children; Marc, who resides in Blue Springs, Missouri, and Andrea, a recent graduate of Gonzaga University.
Gary was saved and baptized at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Independence, Missouri. He graduated from William Chrisman High School in Independence.
After high school, Gary attended Northwest Missouri State University where he was active in football and track and partying. At the age of 32 he was called into full time Christian ministry. He graduated from Calvary Bible College with a degree in Biblical Studies.
It is Gary’s desire to see people come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and to see those same people grow in their faith.
